Hailing from the UK city of Birmingham, A Lone Acacia is a music producer who fuses live and electronic instrumentation into his own unique blend of music. He takes elements of rock and electronica, ambient aesthetics and touches of film scores to weave a sense of introspection and escapism into his compositions.
The artist also draws inspiration from the surroundings of his hometown and the contrast where blossoming fields and nature often abruptly collides with concrete and abandoned industrial buildings. Using delicate instrumental arrangements, he paints colourful sonic images of urban landscapes and cinematic scenes, carried by mesmerising melodic lines and intricately grooving beats.
Venturing out as an artist, he’s now released his debut studio single with the new track titled “Hemispheres”. Pairing downtempo electronic sounds with rock music influences, the introduction to A Lone Acacia delivers the perfect taste of his creative vision. With a hypnotic piano lead to draw you in, the sonic tapestry builds and develops to a euphoric and immersive sound.
Written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered entirely by the artist in his home studio, “Hemispheres” lays down both a truly captivating and soporific sound. Full of deep atmosphere, the song transports you to an ethereal landscape on a worthy debut single from an exciting artist to watch as he gears up to release the follow up track and accompanying debut full-length in the near future.
