As you will know, us over at plasticmag love supporting up and coming bands, with Liverpool five piece Gulf being one of our favourites.
The band’s shimmering sound is truly taking the music scene by storm, and with well received sets at Liverpool Sound City and Field Day under their belt, Gulf are really getting the recognition that they deserve.
The band have spent a lot of time this year hidden away in their Liverpool studio, with their latest single ‘Out Here’ being released barely one month after their single ‘Ocean’. The band haven’t let us down regarding their soft vocals, beautiful melodies and infectious drumbeats in the new single.Radiating with summer vibes, it’s almost as if ‘Out Here’ was written for the season of summer.
As much as we love the psychedelic images that accompany their tracks, videos and social page, it’s hard not to notice the band’s camera shy persona, which leaves us intrigued, adding to the excitement of Gulf.
You can listen to the band’s new single ‘Out Here’ over on their SoundCloud page, and catch the band this summer at Secret Garden Party, Tramlines or Latitude Festival.
