Riding on a surge in popularity of wave music, Liquid Ritual is leading the curve of the movement bringing new artists from the genre to light. This time the label – founded by wave don Kareful, Stohou and LTHL – brings us Pixel by Polish producers MYSTXRIVL and Sokos.
Leaning towards the darker end of the wave spectrum, Pixel offers ruthlessly glitchy beats and infectiously pulsating synth work creating a cutting edge anthem of the wave style. Kicking off with a sound of futurism that’s become a trade mark of the genre, the emphatic synth lines are paired with hard hitting percussion that drives you all the way back to the ‘replay’ button.
