Pioneering wave label Liquid Ritual brings us roster regular Pholo with his new fluid wave jam B0y. Having taken the scene by storm and developed the genre with releases from the likes of label heads Kareful and Stohou, as well as talismanic wave artists MYSTXRIVL and Øfdream, the London based label has been quick to earn its stripes as a leader of the movement. Read our feature on the evolution of wave music here.
Their latest effort sees Pholo lay down an atmospheric and spacey soundscape of pranging synths and frantic vocal sample chops. Driving bass lines underpin snapping beats on this wave piece that’s every bit ethereal as it is energetic.
