Sour is the alias of the 21-year-old electronic music producer hailing from Mexico. At the early age of 10 he started playing the guitar, focusing on classical music composition after which he started teaching himself different styles of music. He since took a long break from it and it wasn’t until late 2018 that he returned to making music and learning about music production.
He began by making Future Bass and even experimented around with genres such as Alternative, Indie, Film and House. He rapidly realised that House is the genre that excited him the most, which led him on the journey to develop his signature House sound.
With his new track, Sour creates an eerie downtempo world made out of a fusion of Techno and House. ‘Bubbles’ offers a delicate array of rhythmically wubbing synthesisers sitting above a stomping beat to create a dark and dreamy groove.
