SYML, the solo project of singer, songwriter and producer Brian Fennell, begins the year with “TRUE”, a new song out on January 1st.
Since SYML’s debut in 2016, Fennell has risen to prominence with an acclaimed body of work celebrated for its honest songwriting exploring themes of longing and loss, earning millions of streams across platforms. “TRUE” is a prelude to much more music to come in 2021.
With his new release, SYML spins a delicate alt-pop world full of rich textures, subtle rhythms and his trademark poignant vocal delivery. Hints of Phoria and Ry X are present in this worthy indietronica piece.
