Dirty Slippers have recorded their first full English language album at legendary Abbey Road Studios and bring us some exclusive behind the scenes information and photos. The band members met with some famous musicians and producers there.

After the success of the international premieres of the “Honest Kid” music video racking up more than 130,000 views on YouTube, Dirty Slippers has been working in London again in recent weeks.
They recorded their first English-language LP in the legendary Abbey Road studio with producer George Shilling, who’s previously worked with the likes of Oasis, Mike Oldfield and Frank Turner, and sound engineer Neil Dawes who’s credit include Ed Sheeran and Michael Bublé.

The best songs from Dirty Slippers’ three Hungarian-language albums, which have already been released, were selected for the album, and new songs will also be included. After the recordings, mixing and production work is currently taking place, after which a new Dirty Slippers song is scheduled to arrive in July. The band’s new album will be released at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
George Shilling, the producer shares, “It was fantastic to be back in Abbey Road with Dirty Slippers. It was great to use all the vintage microphones and equipment to capture and enhance the wonderful performances of the band. It was also exciting and inspiring to spend time with a few famous figures associated with the studios. The band produced some magic over those few days, and we then had some very productive sessions at my Manor Gardens Studio to finish the songs. Lázár and Bebi are really hard working, trusting – and lovely to spend time with. I am really thrilled with the songs and recordings, and I can’t wait to get the tracks mixed and released.”

During the recordings, the band members of Dirty Slippers were really lucky, because they could met with some international stars like Paul Weller of The Jam, Bernard Butler from Suede and legendary producers like Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer George Martin, who worked with Paul McCartney, INXS and Elton John’s movie Rocketman.
