Electronic music from Stature

UK-based electronic music producer Stature has been sharing his sonic vision for the last five years and dropped his first official release in 2020 with his debut three track EP titled Stasis. Laying down powerful beats and slick arrangements of synths, he crafts his own brand of minimal garage music.

Bringing us a taste of his original sound, he shares two tracks from his growing catalogue of releases with “Graded,” the opening track from his sophomore EP Recall, and his 2021 single titled “Etched,” each showcasing a different side of his sound while maintaining the thread of his distinct sonic imprint.

With “Graded,” he lays down a lush soundscape of softly swelling synth textures, that spin a dreamy atmosphere for the first minute. Joined by a shuffling 2 step beat, he crafts a smooth blend of classic UK beat sounds with his his dance-focused style that nods to artists such as Floating Points and Bonobo, brimming with upbeat energy and delicate sonic tapestry.

“Etched” offers a laid back, downtempo vibe that showcases the warmer, organic side of his grooving sonic offering. Light synth shots pulse above an intricately snapping beat that serves up a dynamic and shifting rhythm and subtle vocal samples dance among a playful soundscape of gently swirling sonic textures and vibrant synth tones.

Already dropping two new tracks over 2023, Stature is set to continue winning over new listeners around the world with his highly original and entirely enjoyable sound. As he continues to go from strength to strength with each new move, Stature is an artist that’s well worth following this year and beyond.
