Sanoi links with Beacon Bloom

Originally from Germany but now an integral part of the electronic music scene in New Zealand, Sanoi has been a consistent and exciting presence in the electronic music sphere. As a producer and DJ, he’s played numerous festivals and clubs across New Zealand and Australia, winning over audiences with his versatile DJ sets that blend warm, melodic and groove-focused techno and beyond.

SANOI’s journey as a musician has been marked by a prolific release history, with his own productions finding homes on respected electronic-focused labels both in Europe and New Zealand. Notable among these labels are Tube & Berger’s Zehn Records, Stil Vor Talent, and New Zealand’s Beat & Path.

His recent album, Echoes Of Home, released on the Loop imprint, draws inspiration from his German roots and the vibrant organic house and techno scene of Berlin. One of the standout tracks from the record is “Silver,” a track that sees Sanoi link with previous collaborators Beacon Bloom.

Formed by New Zealanders Ryan Ferris and James Allen in 2018, Beacon Bloom has made a name for themselves with their electric approach to dance music. Their journey began as outsiders to the genre, guided by sheer experimentation and a relentless pursuit of their unique sonic identity.

“Silver” is superb showcase of the synergy between Sanoi and Beacon Bloom. The track opens with bright piano tones and subtle percussive elements that usher in a minimalistic beat. It’s in this understated musical canvas that the magic of “Silver” begins to unfold with Ryan Ferris’s ethereal vocals weaving melancholic melodies to spin a moody aesthetic and gentle, danceable rhythm..

As the song progresses, it builds layers of delicate sonic textures, incorporating soft piano lines, deep bass synths and shuffling drums. This gradual layering creates a truly enveloping sound that wraps the audience in a minimal techno-inspired cut.
