Ephemere shares new single “Stay”

French artist and producer Ephemere has been producing original music for seven years, bringing to life his unique creative vision across various genres and styles including chill to mid-tempo electronic. Taking time to fully distil the sound that best reflected his own sonic identity, after extensive experimentation, over the last three years he’s been going from strength to strength as he shares his musical output with the world.

In 2021 he made his artistic entrance with the debut single titled “Love Me Better,” which he’s since followed up with multiple well-received releases while racking up hundreds of thousands of streams of his music online. Linking up with other artists, he’s produced several collaborations with the likes of NAØ, Guo, MOR3L, Jauks and BCMP along the way.

Now he brings us his latest release with the new single titled “Stay,” a stellar showcase of his mesmeric electronic sound. Packed full of punching beats, shimmering synth tones and shining female vocal samples, “Stay” serves up an energising slice of cutting edge experimental electronic music wrapped up in slick sound design.

Released via Don Diablo’s HEXAGON imprint, this new single signals the start of an exciting new chapter for Ephemere’s musical adventure. Opened by softly crunching echoes of piano, a lo-fi glitchy soundscape takes hold as the delicate filtered vocal leads phase in.

The gentle rattle of percussive shots builds the anticipation before the thump of kick ushers in a buzzing fusion of grooving beats and fluttering synth touches. Snaking through an immersive sonic landscape, the arrangement rises and falls with moments of smooth piano-driven sections cut with the thrilling drops where vibrant synth textures and danceable rhythms collide in spectacular fashion.
