ASHE links with KOVA KOVA on “Lavender”

Toronto-based artist ASHE is known for his own blend of organic electronic music, fusing elements of nature, space and technology into a thrilling creative output. With a deep passion for the outdoors and a knack for musical innovation, ASHE draws inspiration from serene woodland settings and lakeside vistas, creating soundscapes that transport listeners to tranquil, otherworldly places.

Over the past decade, ASHE has established himself as a leading figure in the electronic music scene, marked by notable releases on prestigious labels as well as his own imprint, Ocean Dark. ASHE made his debut in 2018 with the single “Little King,” and has since released several acclaimed EPs, including Melancholia, Clairvoyance, and Individualism on deadmau5’s mau5trap label as well as “Moment (feat. Midnite Amity)” on the legendary Anjunadeep, further confirming his reputation for producing high-quality, emotionally resonant electronic music.

In 2020, ASHE launched the Ocean Dark imprint, an outlet designed to push the boundaries of the industry and provide a platform for innovative artists. Now, ASHE returns with his latest single, “Lavender,” this time linking up with KOVA KOVA to feature on the track.

This new track is a moody electronic pop outing, showcasing ASHE’s ability to blend pounding rhythms, vibrant synth flutters and KOVA KOVA’s commanding vocal performances into an exciting sound. “Lavender” exemplifies cutting-edge alternative pop music, demonstrating ASHE’s continued evolution as an artist and his innovative talent as a producer.

Paired with the single is a remix by Montreal-based producer Eekkoo who puts a laid back spin on the original. Bringing out the brightness with shimmering textures and mellow percussion, he reframes the original in his own thoroughly engaging way, adding his own stamp to this super collaborative release.
