Having racked up millions of streams, he’s been going from strength to strength with each move he makes. Bringing us one of his latest releases, he shares his recent single titled “On The Run,” a collaboration with SHKHR. SHKHR is a rising producer from India whose house and pop music creations have seen him secure support from artists such as Dash Berlin, Blasterjaxx, Yves V and Juicy M among others.
Linking up for the second time this summer, with “On The Run” the pair lay down a stunning dance pop sound full of silky synths, grooving beats and smooth vocal leads. Brought in by the swell of synth textures, the hushed vocal leads of Waves_On_Waves are met with the soft taps of percussion before the beat builds up energy around his voice.
Launching into a punchy chorus of gently thumping drums, drifting synth tones and catchy vocal hooks, the track perfectly balances engaging melodic ideas with a mellow, chill house vibe. At once danceable and hypnotic, the enveloping soundscape flows through an immersive soundscape brimming with memorable writing and wrapped up in superb production.
It’s a killer collaboration from two talented artists on the rise who connect from opposite sides of the world to craft a truly worthy international track.
