Mondingo drops new remix EP

Mondingo is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose music blends organic and electronic elements into a melodic and immersive sound. After unveiling his latest artistic chapter with “You,” the lead single from his upcoming album Island, Mondingo now shares an exciting new remix EP. The release features a reimagined version of “You” by Belgian producer and DJ Stereoclip, alongside Mondingo’s own extended version, offering listeners an expanded and enveloping experience of the track.

Released through Mondingo’s newly founded electronic imprint MOODSHINE Records, “You” has already win over audiences with its intricate production and emotional impact. With the song gaining momentum, this remix EP builds on its success, presenting two distinct yet complementary takes on the original. The collaboration between Mondingo and Stereoclip is a natural progression of their shared musical journey, having previously worked together on tracks like “Mystery” and “Silent Fall” for Stereoclip’s recent album.

Stereoclip’s remix transforms “You” into a hypnotic, club-ready production, stitching pulsating synth lines, atmospheric layers and Mondingo’s expressive vocals into an evolving deep house groove. An uplifting chordal motif glides through the track, supported by a pounding kick and slick low-end that anchors the composition.

While Mondingo’s original version remains rich in its emotive storytelling, Stereoclip’s interpretation amplifies the energy, resulting in a compelling balance between reflection and dancefloor euphoria. Drawing inspiration from the immersive sounds of artists like ARTBAT, Monolink and Nora En Pure, Stereoclip’s remix not only honours Mondingo’s artistic vision but also reframes it into a fresh and innovative space.
