Hailing from London, Tanizzle is the moniker of artist Mark “Drill Manga” Foxx, also known as Sir Tanizzle, whose bold new project is less about fitting into the music industry’s framework and more about redesigning it from the ground up. A one-man creative endeavour, Tanizzle writes, produces, composes and performs everything himself, flowing across genres from EDM and Afrobeats to pop anthems.
Tanizzle is a walking disruption; loud, fearless and uncompromisingly original. At the heart of his artistic DNA is a restless creative vision and where others follow trends, he’s busy setting them. Whether through provocative media or energising music, every move is made to surprise and engage audiences. It’s this refusal to conform that has positioned him as a rising figure within the independent entertainment scene.
With his official debut release titled Three Is A Crowd, Tanizzle introduces a tight-knit trio of EDM tracks that pull no punches. Each cut is built to light up dancefloors while showcasing the versatility of his sonic identity. The opener, “Trifecta,” jumps straight in with a jolt of euphoric rhythm, a buzz of synths and building percussion that slips into a grooving jam of infectious beats, warm piano chords and staccato synth stabs. Brimming with memorable melodic flickers, it’s a danceable outing that puts Tanizzle’s creativity and production flair on full display.
Things take a turn inward on the second track, “No Vacancy,” ahile still dance-ready, it leans into darker hues, layering synth atmospheres over a slick, pulsing bassline. Dark wobbling synth textures and the rattle of hopping drums results in a sound that sits somewhere between a late-night club high and a moment of reflection. Propelled by steady rhythm and dashed with shifting synth tones, it’s a slick groover that expands Tanizzle’s musical world in gripping fashion.
Then comes “Third Wheel,” a superb closer that fuses everything the EP stands for via engrossing drops, catchy hooks and a beat that drives with forward motion. Coloured with vibrant synth timbres, it’s the exclamation mark at the end of an already bold statement and together, the three tracks speak to each other, forming a conceptual triangle that reflects the project’s title.
Three Is A Crowd sees Tanizzle make a stunning entrance with a stellar debut release that’s sure to win over dance music fans around the world. If this release is any indication, this is only the beginning of a creative universe that refuses to play by anyone else’s rules and we can’t wait to see what Tanizzle has in store for the rest of 2025 and beyond.
