D’AL SENIO has been making an impression as one of the most distinctive voices in the Afro and organic house spheres, bringing a thrilling performance style that stitches together live instrumentation with club energy. A producer, DJ and founder of AktinA Records, his sets blend live flute improvisations layered over hypnotic rhythms, creating an immersive sound that carries listeners beyond the ordinary dancefloor experience. His music takes cues from natural landscapes, drawing inspiration from the jungles of Tulum, the Greek islands, Asian rainforests and even the Sahara Desert, translating those energies into a sonic output that feels both elemental and thoroughly unique.
Since his breakthrough, D’AL SENIO has consistently delivered tracks that make an impact with both underground tastemakers and international crowds. His 2018 release “A Thought in Your Mind” on AktinA Records marked an early milestone, followed by the 2020 single “Owl’s Touch” on Switch Records, which confirmed his status as a creator of tracks that light up dancefloors worldwide. Both tracks remain staples in the Afro house scene, regularly appearing in sets and continuing to chart in Beatport’s Top 100, a sign of their enduring appeal.
The balance between exquisite production and improvisational energy results in a sound that’s deep yet uplifting, spiritual yet physical. This vision has earned him support from a range of leading figures, including Aaron Sevilla, Space Motion, Emmanuel Esposito, FNX Omar and Sam Divine. His tracks have also been featured on influential platforms such as Defected Radio, BBC Radio 1 and Ibiza Global Radio, giving his music global reach while maintaining an underground spirit.

His latest offering titled “Diga,” released on the Sunset Gathering imprint, represents another step forward in his constantly developing sound. Blending Afro tech with tribal house elements, the track is designed to land at peak-time moments, where its driving rhythms and hypnotic layers collide in a euphoric dance music moment. Jumping straight into a lively groove of shuffling percussion and rattling shots, the intricate flickers of synth pips and bold bass stabs are led by a stunning female vocal that threads through the production, adding an emotive edge throughout.
Deftly balancing trance-inducing rhythms with memorable melodic elements and sparse piano touches, “Diga” sees D’AL SENIO serve up an infectious outing that’s sure to win over dance music fans around the world. Adding to the release, HVMZA delivers an epic rework that reimagines “Diga” entirely, stretching its hypnotic qualities into new musical areas. This re-interpretation offers DJs another powerful option for their sets, whether they’re looking to maintain intensity or guide a crowd into more atmospheric zones.
Together, the original and remix distil D’AL SENIO’s creativity and strength as a producer who understands the versatility of his sound and its ability to adapt to different moods and spaces. With each release, D’AL SENIO continues to shine in his role as both innovator and storyteller, taking Afro and organic house into new dimensions.
We caught up with D’AL SENIO to find out more about his musical journey so far, his new single “Diga” and what he’s got lined up for the future. Check out our interview with D’AL SENIO below.
Your new track is out now on Sunset Gathering. Can you share the story or inspiration behind this track? How did the remix come up?
My inspiration usually comes from Afro-based rhythms and world music melodies. For this track, I wanted to explore the fusion of African vocals with a driving Afro-tech rhythm, creating something that feels both grounded in tradition and forward-looking. Around the same time, I had been discussing a collaboration with Hvmza, and when I shared the idea for Diga, he brought in his own interpretation, which opened the track up in a whole new way.
Looking ahead, what are your goals or plans for this year as an artist/DJ?
My main goal this year is to keep developing my sound and taking it into new sonic directions, while sharing my hybrid set worldwide with new audiences and building deeper connections.
Do you have any exciting projects, shows, or collaborations on the horizon, or recent career highlights you’re especially proud of?
Recently I’ve had the chance to play at Untold Festival in Romania, Super Paradise in Mykonos, and I’m excited to be heading to Untold Festival Dubai next month. Another special moment for me was performing at a fashion show at St. Petersburg, inside the Peterhof Palace. It was a very special moment for me, as I was the first DJ ever invited to perform in this historic venue and inspired me to shape my performance with a fresh artistic vision.

How do you feel your sound or style has evolved over time?
I began shaping my sound at a young age as an organic musician, playing guitar, saxophone and flute. Traveling and studying different styles of music helped me dive deeper into the roots of the sounds I was drawn to. After experimenting with various projects, my focus now is on Afro House and Afro-Tech, where I layer my flute over electronic rhythms to create something both rhythmic and melodic, while keeping the organic element at the heart of my sound.
What’s been the most rewarding part of your journey as an artist/DJ so far?
The most rewarding part for me is the energy of the crowd and that feeling of oneness when everyone is moving together under the same rhythm. I also deeply value the incredible people I’ve met along the way, who have inspired me and helped me grow, not only as an artist but also in the way I think and see the world.
Do you have a dream collaboration or venue you’d love to play one day?
One of my dreams is to collaborate with Burning Spear, who has been a great influence on me and remains one of the legendary Jamaican singers still carrying the roots alive. His music has always inspired me with its deep spirit. When it comes to performing, the most inspiring settings for me are natural landscapes, deserts, jungles, anywhere that feels close to pure nature. Playing music in those environments creates a unique connection that is incomparable to anything else.
Before we wrap up, do you have any advice for aspiring DJ/Producers?
Keep your love for music alive, it will always light the way.
