GINAxC shares new track “Liar on Fire”

From the shadows of Sweden’s alternative pop scene comes GINAxC, an artist that melts style, story and sound into an intoxicating sonic cocktail. A singer-songwriter, sound designer and visual artist, she builds a world around her sonic vision while fusing her Balkan origins with cinematic ambitions, coining her own genre, “Velvet Club Pop,” a slick sound that’s equal parts atmosphere and attitude.

Beneath the impactful production lies a context of determination, defiance and emotion, brought to life by an artist who turns struggle into spectacle and contemplation into empowerment. As a teenager, GINAxC was discovered by Jonas Warnerbring, known for his work with Melodifestivalen and for many, that would have been the start of a mainstream pop trajectory, but she took the harder route by stepping back from the industry machine to forge her identity on her own terms.

Her debut single “Risky Business” announced her arrival with cinematic flair and from there, GINAxC began shaping a place where dark pop drama meets club euphoria. Her releases have clocked hundreds of thousands of streams and secured global radio play, all achieved through a fiercely independent approach that fully crystallised last September with her debut album MY DNA landed as a twelve-track odyssey through identity, memory and reinvention. This year, she’s kept up the momentum with a string of releases and now brings us her brand new single titled “Liar on Fire,” a dark, high-impact and emotionally charged track. The song competed at the San Marino Song Contest 2026, where she performed in front of a distinguished jury including Andreas Anastasiou Mimmo Paganelli and Eldar Gasimov, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest for Azerbaijan.

“Liar on Fire” threads electronic pop hooks through darker undercurrents, juxtaposing shimmering synths with sharp percussive grit to serve up another epic display of GINAxC’s incredible command of sonic tension. Set up by the intricate stabs of staccato synth tones, the punch of drums and sweep of pulsing instrumental textures in met by her hushed vocals. Gliding with subtly theatrical vibes, the track surges into a thrilling dance pop scene that’s infectious, brooding and energising all at once, resulting in an enthralling listening experience from start to finish.

The track is the first taste of her forthcoming EP The Ugly Truth and comes during her MY DNA / T.U.T. TOUR 2026 which is seeing her performing across Europe, with stops in Rimini, Stockholm, Hamburg and Gothenburg, bringing her immersive live vision to audiences across the continent.
