Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, LunaRover is a band formed by friendship, creative trust and a shared passion for the art of sound. The duo is forged by longtime collaborators Ben Pelletier and Kevin Rieth, who’ve spent over a decade shaping their musical language, developing a style that balances nostalgia with forward-thinking sonic innovation.
Over the years, their fruitful creative partnership has blossomed into one of the most exciting new acts in alternative pop, marked by shimmering synths, intricate production and thoughtful songwriting. As co-producers, Ben and Kevin wrap the warmth of vintage tones with slick, modern impact, creating an atmosphere that feels familiar and futuristic in equal measure. Influenced by the grandeur of 80s acts like Tears for Fears and Duran Duran, they draw on that same sense of drama and melody but reimagine it through the lens of current artists such as St. Vincent and Alabama Shakes.
LunaRover made their debut in December 2024 with “Chimera,” a single that immediately announced their arrival as an exciting new project on the rise. Last summer, LunaRover returned with their sophomore single “Fountains,” expanding the scope of their sound while deepening their storytelling and confirming their status as a must watch band in the modern alternative pop sphere.

Now, LunaRover return with their third single titled “Little Things,” a spacey and intricately constructed track that takes cues from acts like Beck, Pink Floyd and ELO to craft a sonic voyage that drifts between planets of sound, guided by steady rhythms and ethereal vocals. “Little Things” revolves around the idea of appreciation, distilling the quiet, often overlooked details that give relationships their meaning, giving the song a heartfelt context not so much about grand gestures or sweeping declarations but the tender moments that make connection real.
Flowing with the hazy buzz of woozy synth lines and rustle of shuffling drums, the arrangement tumbles into place with smooth vocal leads, crafting a laid back groove that progresses with the flash of bubbling instrumental tones. Taking flight with overlapping vocal layers, the track glides with misty aesthetic and soulful vibes while a spliced NASA sample manipulated by Ben flickers amongst the track’s atmosphere, serving as a sort of instrumental flourish that’s both playful and eerie, basing the track’s emotional theme in a sense of cosmic wonder.
Lifted by the warm textures of a choir, arranged and layered by Kevin, the track sees LunaRover take risks with structure and tone, to deliver a stunning showcase of their creativity while maintaining the charm that fans have come to love in their sound. As they continue to impress with each new release, LunaRover once again serve up a magical musical moment that’s unique, engaging and impossible not to love.
