Based in Los Angeles, LEEDY is an artist whose music grows from constant motion and personal reinvention while blending different sonic influences to create immersive, pop-tinged musical spaces. By the age of thirteen, LEEDY had already lived in four different states and attended several schools, constant transitions which placed her in the familiar role of being the “new kid,” repeatedly entering unfamiliar environments and while that experience came with challenges, it also shaped her creative identity.
She immersed herself in artistic pursuits, learning to play various instruments, singing in local choirs and writing poetry. Today, LEEDY has transformed that background into a full-time artistic pursuit and as both a songwriter and performer, approaching each project with a sense of curiosity, exploring different sounds while remaining guided by atmosphere and emotion. Her focus on mood and texture allows her music to come to life naturally, reflecting both personal growth and changing creative impulses.
In 2023 she made her entrance with the instrumental EP, shenanigans, which she’s since followed up with a string of well-received tracks and her sophomore EP, Can I Fade Into You, which landed in March last year. More recently, two new singles have marked a noticeable shift in her developing style; “Haunted” and “Green” signal a fresh chapter in LEEDY’s musical story, introducing a more emotionally layered direction that hints at even greater ambitions as her career progresses.

The most recent, “Green,” offers a particularly emphatic example of her artistic direction, blending elements of SZA, Kehlani, Billie Eilish, Summer Walker and Leon Thomas within its atmosphere, yet the final result remains entirely her own. Thematically, the song explores the enduring nature of love, reflecting on the experience of remaining connected with a long-term partner. The track captures the feeling of continued infatuation and emotional closeness, presenting love not as a temporary spark but as something capable of growing stronger over time.
Linking up with revered producer Olivier Bassil, they craft an infectious slice of pop-focused alternative R&B that serves up smokey atmosphere and grooving rhythm in equal measure. Set up by misty vocalisations and the intricate twang of bright guitar notes, the soft punch of drums ushers in LEEDY’s alluring voice as she spins catchy melodic leads above, resulting in an instantly memorable jam brimming with slick hooks and danceable energy.
Propelled by the snap of dusty drums and pulse of smooth bass lines, “Green” rolls with delicate instrumental flourishes capped by LEEDY’s stunning vocal performance to cast an epic musical moment. As she continues to go from strength to strength as a compelling singer-songwriter, LEEDY is sure to win over countless listeners around the world as she reveals more of her incredible musical output.
