Coming out of London’s live music circuit, GOMME arrives as a new trio driven by experience, chemistry and a shared passion for movement. Newly endorsed by Marshall and formed in a scene that relies on late nights and genre blending, the group brings together three distinct musical identities into something entirely new. Their sound slides between jazz, soul and organic house, built on a steadfast sense that rhythm and feeling should always lead the way.
GOMME brings together the talents of three accomplished musicians; APW, Bella and Cam Ward, who each fold their own history into the project. APW, already recognised as a leading R&B figure, brings a voice that flows across pop, soul and R&B. Bella operates differently, drawing from jazz training to shape something more subtle but no less impactful, filtering lo-fi warmth into organic textures. Cam Ward’s versatility across soul, hip hop and jazz acts as connective tissue, tethering the trio’s sound to groove while allowing space for improvisation and expansion.
Informed by years of performance across the UK and beyond, from festival stages to intimate venues, GOMME’s musical output sees jazz melodies melt into smooth rhythms and R&B vocals glide over slick basslines. It’s a sound that pairs memorable melodic writing, energising rhythms and musicianship panache to deliver something that’s equally accessible and cutting edge.

Capturing their sound in the studio, they now make their official artistic entrance with their aptly titled first single, “Debut.” The track distils the moment the trio first came together, built from a session that began as an agreement to avoid writing a heartbreak song. Within hours, they’d shifted into something more spontaneous, forming a track that leans into the complexity of relationships while maintaining its sense of fun. “We wanted to write about all different kinds of relationships. The sound design and textures we used want to take you from the start of your night on Friday, through to the early hours of Sunday morning,” they share.
Set up by the smokey sound of bright trumpet tones, woozy keys and mesmeric vocalisations, the track jumps into a steady groove where the pulse of warm bass notes and laid back clap of percussion form an engaging soundscape. With split vocal leads fluttering above the rhythmic arrangement, they spin soulful melodic lines carrying storytelling lyricism, taking listeners on an engrossing voyage brimming with catchy hooks and mellow, danceable energy.
Wrapped in a hazy sonic fabric and instilled with alluring melodic writing propelled by infectious groove, the track flows through a passage of intricate lead piano work, injecting a burst of lively instrumental energy before rolling into a wholly absorbing finale. It’s a stunning jam that sees GOMME make a spectacular entrance as a must watch new trio on the rise. Invitations to record at Marshall studios and a run of upcoming performances point to a group already moving forward, building on the chemistry they’ve found together and we can’t wait to see where it leads.
