Based in London, WØLFFE is a singer-songwriter and producer who’s forged a sonic identity that exists somewhere between shadow and spotlight, where cinematic alternative rock collides with poetry, abstraction and emotional impulse. Influences from experimental electronic music, post punk, literature and film all melt into her sound, resulting in storytelling-focused songs that feel like fragmented tales.
Desire, fantasy and escapism are stitched throughout her writing, with each track offering a window into a mind inspired by pioneering artists and thinkers. Soft textures meet abrasive edges, melody dissolves into noise and structure gives way to atmosphere in a balance that gives her work its emotional impact.
Her first major breakthrough came a decade ago with the debut single “Shoot You Down,” a track that instantly marked her as an artist to watch, gathering significant attention and clocking over 1.7 million spins. Then, after stepping back from releasing music for a period, she returned in 2024 with a string of singles and her debut EP, Honeymoon Season. Since then, her presence has extended beyond the studio, with live performances that have connected just as strongly, including sold-out shows in London and a tour alongside Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES in March last year.
While her solo output has steadily grown into its own world, WØLFFE’s work beyond her own releases has also shaped her artistic identity. As a composer and vocalist, she’s contributed to film and television, creating theme tracks for projects including the neo noir film Terminal and the thriller Escape Plan 3, as well as lending her voice to series such as Riviera and Netflix’s House of Guinness.

Now, with her upcoming sophomore EP Yuck set to drop in July on her own CUB Records imprint, WØLFFE continues to expand her fiercely original creative vision. Penned and produced by the artist herself, the project reflects her steadfast mission of independence and creative control, with one track co-produced alongside Dan McDougall. Following the release of the title track last year, the second single from the EP, “Holiday From My Mind,” offers a particularly vivid insight into that process.
Born from a spontaneous moment one summer Saturday, the track began as a poem written in an English garden before blooming into a full song months later. Produced entirely from her bedroom, the track drifts into focus with the soft clunk of percussive elements and soft string textures as WØLFFE’s hushed vocals enter to spin melancholic melodies carrying picture painting lyricism via emotive delivery.
Building up the energy, the track swells with the punch of pattering drums and the pulse of immersive instrumentation as hr moody vocal leads hover above. Casting an engrossing alternative rock soundscape that’s delicate and powerful in equal measure, the song flows through moments of transportive instrumental passages before gliding into a subtly anthemic finale that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. As she moves toward the release of Yuck, WØLFFE continues to go from strength to strength as a truly unique singer-songwriter with a thoroughly compelling sound.
