Over the last few years, Moon and Aries have marked themselves as one of the more compelling partnerships operating in the modern electronic music sphere. Working across continents while sharing a united artistic vision, the collaboration between Canadian singer-songwriter Jordana Moon and German composer and producer Tom Aries shows how distance can become a creative strength as opposed to an obstacle. Together, the duo has developed a sound that feels immersive, emotionally impactful and constantly developing, balancing sophisticated electronic production with organic textures and thoughtful songwriting that looks beyond the dancefloor.
Moon and Aries is driveen by the complementary relationship between its two creators; Jordana Moon brings a background as a singer-songwriter, lyricist, vocal coach and creative writer, approaching music through emotional presence and conscious expression. Alongside her, Tom Aries contributes an entirely different yet perfectly aligned perspective, bringing a background in classical composition and experience creating music for film and video games, he specialises in building expansive sonic environments where story and atmosphere become intrinsically linked to the music itself.
Bringing together synth pop, trip hop and electronic dance music, Moon and Aries create engrossing soundscapes where Jordana’s melodic style and lyrical writing glides with Tom’s intricate electronic programming and sound design. Since introducing their collaboration with the debut album The Arrival in 2022, the pair steadily expanded both their catalogue and their artistic ambitions. A subsequent EP continued that momentum before sophomore album Break The Matrix further showcased their growing confidence and creative chemistry.
Across six years of collaboration, despite working from opposite sides of the Atlantic, Jordana and Tom have now written more than 30 songs together, establishing a prolific creative partnership that continues to florish with every release. Their upcoming Prairie Souls EP and the forthcoming World Lounge Tour album represent different chapters within a much broader artistic vision where electronic and organic musical worlds continually overlap and influence one another.

Now, their latest single titled “High Noon” opens another captivating window into that expanding world as a cinematic desert dream that explores themes of transformation, truth and the courage required to step into the light. “High Noon” deftly balances synthetic and acoustic elements to create a transportive atmosphere where trip hop inspired rhythms provide the energy and atmospheric electronics blend with soulful vocal performances, expressive saxophone passages and organic guitar work.
Guest guitarist Peter J. Mitchell contributes additional elements, while Hanna Marchand of Joko Magic introduces expressive saxophone that lifts the song’s cinematic character. Set up by the soft flutter of warm key tones and airy instrumental flickers, the pulse of the beat injects a smooth groove as smokey sax tones hover above, casting a spellbinding soundscape that’s mesmeric and wholly immersive. As Jordana’s alluring voice enters, she stitches delicate melodies into the musical fabric via emotive delivery, resulting in a hypnotic listening experience that’s memorable, dreamy and highly original all at once.
Dashed with intricate instrumental flourishes and carried by the steady march of drums, it’s a stunning display of Moon and Aries’ enchanting and highly affecting musical output. With “High Noon,” Moon and Aries continue to show the strength of a partnership built on trust, imagination and complementary artistic vision. As they prepare to unveil the next chapters of their exciting musical universe through Prairie Souls and World Lounge Tour, the duo remain steadfast in their knack for dissolving boundaries between electronic and organic sound and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
