Dane Carter represents a new generation of electronic artists who understand that dance music is as much about atmosphere and emotion as it is about momentum and impact. With more than fifteen years of experience behind the decks, the DJ and producer has earned a reputation for creating immersive musical journeys, blending Afro house, Afro tech, melodic house, indie dance and tech house into a sound that feels at once global and personal.
As his profile continues to rise across the international electronic scene, Dane has become recognised his productions as well as for his ability to deliver sets that move between cultures, textures and moods. Over the years, that style has taken him onto stages alongside some of the most respected names in modern dance music. Sharing line-ups with artists including Artbat, Fisher, Alex Wann, Moojo, Themba, Liva K, Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig and Sasson has positioned him within an increasingly influential network of international talent but despite those impressive credentials, Dane’s identity remains firmly tied to the musical exploration that drives his work.
That curiosity is reflected throughout his production catalogue; his music has found homes on respected labels including SwitchLab, Café de Anatolia and Sunset Gathering, platforms known for championing electronic music that embraces cultural influences and forward-thinking sound design. Through collaborations with artists such as Idd Aziz, NAE, Mavhungu, Cali Bee, Bebo and Lucas Reyes, Dane has continued to expand his sonic output, bringing together voices and ideas from different corners of the world.
The recognition has followed naturally and in 2024, he was named among the Top 30 Café de Anatolia artists to follow, further highlighting his growing presence within the global electronic community. Several of his productions were selected for official Café de Anatolia compilations, including Oriental Express, curated and mixed by Billy Esteban. Beyond streaming platforms and club systems, his music has also found a place on influential radio stations including Ibiza Live Radio, Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, FG Chic, Radio FG and My House Radio, extending his reach to audiences across multiple continents.

Support from figures such as Emanuele Esposito, Aaron Sevilla, Enzo Siffredi, Jamiie, DR Feel, Klement Bonelli, Monkey Safari and Rialians On The Earth have all championed his work, recognising the unique character that runs through his productions and performances. Now, Dane Carter continues that journey with the release of his brand new two-track EP titled La Brisa. Featuring the title track alongside companion piece “Sopro,” the release offers a new insight into the inspirations currently shaping his sound.
The project is deeply connected to Brazilian music and culture, influences that have long occupied an important place in his creative world. Particularly significant are artists such as Maz and Antdot, whose pioneering work combining Afro house with Brazilian musical traditions has left a lasting impression on Dane’s artistic development. Their knack for bringing together rhythmic intensity with cultural context helped shape the creative direction behind La Brisa, inspiring him to explore similar intersections between groove, emotion and identity.
“La Brisa” serves up a thrilling sonic voyage that flows with the intricate patter of percussion and alluring vocal elements, wrapped up in a wholly absorbing atmosphere and cut with slick drops that bring an enveloping dance music experience. “Sopro” leans into a bass-heavy sound with a pulsing energy casting a hypnotic backdrop for mellow vocals to hover above while the flicker of organic instrumental textures delivers a truly transportive musical moment.
The EP also highlights the meticulous nature of his production process, with Dane using sample packs as a starting point before reshaping and reworking them extensively. Through manipulation and reconstruction, he twists those materials into grooves that feel original and thoroughly his own. As his reputation continues to grow internationally, this latest release serves as another exciting step forward for an artist who continues to go from strength to strength with each move.
