From her base in Andalusia, Spain, Creative Director Marianna Strykhar has built an artistic vision that revolves around what she calls the ‘craftsmanship of memory.’ Through Pamyat Kids, she’s created a project that reaches beyond music alone, combining creativity, pedagogy and thoughtful design to offer families an alternative to the increasingly overstimulating nature of modern children’s media. Ultimately, Pamyat Kids is dedicated to creating spaces where calm, concentration and meaningful connection can flourish.
The project was conceived as a response to what Marianna identifies as the growing problem of sensory overload within contemporary entertainment aimed at children. Eschewing fast-paced visuals, constant stimulation and attention-grabbing noise, Pamyat Kids moves deliberately in the opposite direction. Every element is designed with meaning, creating an environment that respects children’s cognitive development while encouraging a slower and more mindful experience for both children and parents.
Music forms a central part of that philosophy and through carefully crafted acoustic and instrumental compositions, Pamyat Kids seeks to provide a gentle soundtrack for everyday family life. The project’s mission of pedagogical excellence informs every creative decision, with each piece designed not just to be aesthetically engaging but also to support concentration, relaxation and emotional wellbeing.
This context is guided by a strict Slow Media manifesto which sees music built entirely around acoustic instrumentation. Tempos are maintained between 60 and 70 beats per minute, synchronised with the resting heart rate to encourage calmness and stability while the wider visual universe surrounding the project follows the same principles, favouring static framing and a measured pace over rapid visual stimulation.

The project’s debut album titled La Playa Mágica serves as the first major expression of that vision, composed entirely of acoustic instrumental pieces to function as both a listening experience and an educational resource. The album also represents the first of four interconnected corners within a much larger creative sphere currently being developed by Marianna. This expanding world is intended to challenge what she sees as the visual fast food of modern media by offering a balanced and more considered alternative.
From the opening track “El viaje la playa Mágica, the interplay between bouncy piano notes and softly pattering percussion forms a playful and upbeat sound. “Bienvenidos” flows with bright instrumental flickers and steady rhythmic march to craft a charming instrumental jam that’s breezy, charming and impossible not to love. Tracks like “Presentación” glide with elegant melodic leads and soothing rhythmic structure while “El cangrejo” brings subtly stuttered piano chords and twinkling leads to cast an intriguing musical moment.
“El pulpo” pairs jaunty piano notes with delicate percussive elements as airy lead notes float above while the quietly dramatic flutter of piano on “La medusa lola” captures a stunning piano performance of pulsing rhythmic energy and memorable melodic lines. The release flows through a series of lullaby-esque “Canción de cuna” pieces, offering a string of compositions which connect to present a cohesive and thoroughly compelling voyage within the album.
Closing the record with “Bajo las estrellas,” the lilting rhythmic sway of downtempo piano notes delivers a tender and enchanting finale to Pamyat Kids’ debut full-length outing. Through La Playa Mágica and the wider universe it introduces, Marianna Strykhar has created a project built around calmness, intention and care, extending an invitation for families to slow down, engage more deeply with one another and rediscover the value of shared moments. In doing so, Pamyat Kids reveals how music and media can become tools not merely for entertainment, but for connection, memory and growth.
