Operating in the space where music becomes something far larger than a collection of songs, Qymira in UK-based singer-songwriter, musician, conductor, actor, producer, film composer, designer and philanthropist. she’s built an artistic world that moves between orchestral grandeur and modern pop energy, combining classical influence, cinematic storytelling and cutting edge production into a sound that feels as ambitious as the vision behind it.
At the centre of Qymira’s creative universe is her strong connection with performance and as a virtuoso on violin, piano and vocals, as well as a conductor, she leads the Qymira Symphony Orchestra, a collective of elite musicians drawn from some of the world’s leading symphonies and philharmonics. Together, they create a sonic landscape where delicate emotion can suddenly transform into something vast and dramatic, dissolving the boundaries between a concert hall, a film score and the dancefloor.
Her debut single “Satisfied (EEDB Remix)” quickly reached #1 on the UK Music Week Breakers Chart, showcasing her ability to combine classical musicianship with pop appeal. Follow-up releases including “Boom Bang Bang,” “Wait For No One” and “Give It To Me” continued that momentum, revealing a performer capable of bringing together infectious hooks, orchestral arrangements and a gripping sense of theatre. Her latest chapter sees her step into the world of cinema with Shadow Transit, an ambitious feature film project where she takes on the dual role of lead actress and composer.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Pedring Lopez, the film stars Qymira as Celeste, a mysterious character venturing through a world of destiny and deception alongside Yoshi Sudarso. The film’s official theme, “Shade of My Shadow,” released via QiiA Media, captures that connection between sound and story perfectly. Written and composed with Richard Taylor, known for his work with Boyzone, Westlife and Ronan Keating, the track is a sweeping orchestral journey through memory, transformation and the fragile space between darkness and light.
Performed by the Qymira Symphony Orchestra, “Shade of My Shadow” feels like a meeting point between all sides of her artistic output. The track combines cinematic scale with intimate emotion, reflecting the journey of Celeste while also revealing Qymira’s own fascination with transformation and self-discovery. Filmed at the Dolphy Theatre at ABS-CBN Studios, the accompanying video for the song, directed by Pedring Lopez, expands that world further. The visual places Qymira at the heart of her own universe, surrounded by her orchestra as scenes from Shadow Transit appear behind her.
Dressed in a self-designed gown from her Qymira Qouture fashion line and wearing jewellery by VERGEZ, the performance becomes a convergence of music, cinema, design and personal expression. It’s a release that feels like the result of multiple creative paths finally meeting, representing Qymira’s ability to turn ideas into immersive experiences by bringing together orchestral composition, pop, film and visual storytelling in a dazzling display of her extraordinary creative talents. From standing before an orchestra to performing on stage or appearing on screen, Qymira remains an artist driven by a mission to create something engrossing and unlike anything else.
