Paris-based artist John Miller views electronic music as an act of emotional excavation, creating songs that feel like fragments recovered from an imagined future. His work forms in a fascinating sphere between emotion and mythology, blending intimate personal experiences with an artistic concept that imagines distant transmissions from a civilisation that never existed, resulting in music that feels cinematic, melancholic and human, even as it reaches toward something otherworldly.
Working entirely as a solo artist, John has built a creative output conjured from his own emotional experiences; heartbreak and reflection become the source for electronic soundscapes that take listeners into highly personal moments while speaking to emotions that are widely understood. His music ultimately functions as a diary translated into sound, with melody, rhythm and atmosphere carrying the impact of genuine experience.
In 2023, he made his artistic entrance and unveiled his original sonic vision with the debut single “Gates of Summer” which he followed up with singles two and three before his debut full-length record, Mixed Musical Art Mma, landed the following year. Since then, he’s continued making an impression with several singles and a trio of EPs and now, with a more techno-focused EP on the horizon, he brings us one of his latest releases with his new single titled “Sexy Blueberry.”

Created during a period of profound personal suffering, the track transforms private heartbreak into a driving deep house outing that allows every element of the production to reflect the emotional landscape from which it arose. At its centre sits the story of someone unable to let go of a former relationship, with the song exploring the lasting presence of an ex-lover who continues to occupy both memory and emotion, examining the difficult space where enduring love collides with personal pride.
Opened by the pulse of deep low-end texture and melancholic vocalisations, the track rolls into a grooving scene of punching beats and wubbing basslines. With the crisp snap of hi hat, drive of bass and hazy vocal leads, the track flows with moody melodic lines and wholly absorbing dancefloor energy. Peppered with intricate lead synth flickers, “Sexy Blueberry” casts an immersive and energising dance music experience that’s brooding, euphoric and transportive all at once.
Putting his creativity and production flair on full display, with “Sexy Blueberry,” John Miller delivers an epic electronic jam that’s sure to win over dance music fans around the world. His developing production style never overshadows the emotion at the heart of his songwriting and as his catalogue continues to grow, John Miller is going from strength to strength as an exciting electronic music production with an original and truly compelling sonic output.
