Based in Dubai, Anna Kam is the artistic banner of award-winning filmmaker, entrepreneur and songwriter Anna Kameneva, a creative whose work lands at the crossroads of storytelling, culture and personal experience. Her career has moved between cinema, business and music, but across each avenue there’s a consistent interest in the stories that connect people and places. Anna’s decorated filmmaking career has already earned international recognition, including the Best Documentary Award at the Marbella International Film Festival.
She’s also co-founder of A&K Production and the award-winning documentary series Women and Roads, which explores culture, travel and inspiring personal journeys around the world. Her work in film has naturally fed into her musical vision, where experiences, locations and personal milestones become the starting points for songwriting. Her songs combine emotional storytelling with cinematic atmospheres, drawing from memories and experiences that have left an impression, while her international perspective allows different cultures and influences to meet within the same creative space.
She introduced that musical identity in November last year with her debut single, “Emirates Vibe” and now, Anna turns her attention towards a place that has held a particularly significant position in her life with her latest Spanish-language release titled “Marbella”. The connection between Anna and the Spanish coastal city stretches back seventeen years, distilling personal and professional achievements as well as countless memories. That history gives the new single a meaning that goes beyond simply choosing an attractive location as its subject, as Marbella represents inspiration, creativity, freedom and the type of atmosphere that can become intrinsically linked to the memories made there.

“Marbella” captures that feeling through a Latin-inspired dance pop sound that revolves around hypnotic vocal hooks, tropical groove and Mediterranean energy. Sensual female vocals meet catchy chant-style elements, creating an upbeat atmosphere designed for beach clubs, rooftop parties, travel content and international summer playlists. Set up by swooping vocalisations as the rustle of percussion maintains a steady forward motion, the track glides with Anna’s alluring vocal leads as the pulse of the beat sets an infectious groove.
Building with colourful instrumentation and danceable energy cut with catchy melodic leads, the track flows with intoxicating Latin pop aesthetic, resulting in an engaging jam that’s memorable, transportive and impossible not to love. Thematically, “Marbella” takes one city and transforms it into an emotional landscape, somewhere associated with sunshine, movement, freedom and escape. The decision to sing in Spanish makes that connection even more personal and although Anna’s not a native Spanish speaker, she chose the language because of her longstanding relationship with Marbella and her love for the culture, atmosphere and spirit of Southern Spain.
Written and performed by Anna herself, “Marbella” is ultimately a celebration of the Mediterranean lifestyle and the energy surrounding one of Europe’s most recognisable coastal destinations. In that sense, “Marbella” feels like a natural extension of Anna Kam’s wider creative philosophy and whether she’s working through film or music, she’s interested in the emotional stories hidden within places and the ways those stories can bring people together. She she continues to impress on her musical adventure, we can’t wait to see what comes next from this exciting artist on the rise for the rest of 2026 and beyond.
