Born to Martiniquais and Portuguese parents and raised in Deux-Sèvres, Kyler Mils found his way into music through the family piano, an early starting point that would eventually lead him towards a cinematic vision of pop. Drawing inspiration from Mylène Farmer, Madonna and Kylie Minogue, the French singer-songwriter has developed a sound that brings retro synth pop together with emotionally compelling storytelling, creating a sonic world where nostalgia and poignant context coalesce into an intoxicating musical cocktail.
Since introducing that world with his debut single “Delta” in 2023, Kyler has expanded his catalogue through a series of well-received releases and remixes. Reflective lyrics and immersive soundscapes have become central pillars in his sound but it was “CATS CRY TOO (new version)” in 2024 that brought his work wider attention. The track explored masculinity through the expression of emotion, challenging the idea that vulnerability has to be hidden behind a harder exterior. The tension between strength and sensitivity has continued to shape his work and his debut album, MIRRORED TATTOOS, released last year, placed club-focused anthems alongside intimate ballads, creating a record that could move between energy and contemplation.
Within that contrast was a profoundly personal creative journey, with the album reflecting his personal health journey and the complicated relationship between pain and inspiration. Now based in Paris and signed to the Luna Sound Records imprint, Kyler continues to build an international audience while maintaining a passion for collaboration with rising young artists. His creative world has also increasingly expanded into visual storytelling, with his latest chapter arriving after the music video for the single “HE IS A DISCO SENSATION” which was filmed in Cannes.

Now, for his latest single titled “THE NIGHTS,” Kyler returns to his adopted city, placing Paris at the centre of another story about love and loss. Shot in Paris and directed by Kyler, with Emma Jayr serving as director of photography, the video follows the artist cycling through the city after receiving a breakup message; left alone on the couch, he sets out on a mission to win back the person who has walked away.
Recounting a series of attempts to distract himself and perhaps, ultimately, repair what has been broken, ice cream offers one temporary escape from the situation, before flowers, a ring and even a game console enter the equation. Each gesture becomes another attempt to bridge the distance created by that single message. In Paris, with a bike beneath him and a series of increasingly ambitious attempts at reconciliation, “THE NIGHTS” turns a breakup into another chapter in an evolving pop story where emotion isn’t something to hide, but something worth chasing.
The track itself serves up a moving alternative pop soundscape that takes shape with the buzz of woozy synth tones while zapping shots ushers in a slick groove of pulsing rhythms and soulful vocal delivery. As Kyler’s voice glides over the immersive arrangement and smooth rhythmic flow, he spins instantly memorable melodic leads carrying storytelling lyricism to cast an engrossing jam that’s at once infectious and emotionally charged. Dashed with twanging guitar leads which add an intricate melodic flourish to the breakdown, the track rolls into an absorbing finale that’s guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
Stacked with rattling percussion and layers of synth tones capped by expressive vocal performance, “THE NIGHTS” sees Kyler Mils lay down a moody pop outing that’s sure to win over listeners around the world. With the music video bringing the song alive on screen in spectacular fashion, Kyler Mils’ delivers another epic release that puts his songwriting flair and creativity on full display.
