For more than two decades, New York-based artist JES has built a decorated career as a chart-topping, award-winning singer, songwriter and producer. Along the way, she’s moved through atmospheric pop, dance and cinematic styles, developing a sound driven by her captivating voice and emotionally impactful storytelling. From her legendary release “As The Rush Comes” with Motorcycle to an expansive catalogue of solo material and collaborations, JES has continually found new ways to turn feeling into engaging musical experiences.
Her career has taken her around the world and into some remarkable company; JES has collaborated with Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, ATB, Kaskade, BT, Richard Durand, Cosmic Gate and Roger Shah, while her tours have reached six continents. Landmark performances have included the Beijing Summer Olympics, while her recordings have earned multiple Grammy nominations and reached the top of Billboard Dance Radio. With more than 300 million streams, two Billboard #1 singles and a catalogue informed by longevity as much as ambition, her place within electronic music has continued to shine beyond any single genre.
Yet statistics only tell part of the story and within JES’s work is an interest with identity, determination and belief, expressed through songwriting that gives emotional experiences a cinematic scale. Using her vocal presence to connect personal reflection with something larger now forms the framework of Dreamer, her forthcoming LP and a project built around imagination, transformation, becoming and creative sovereignty.
Set for release later this year, Dreamer plays out as a cinematic journey in which each song represents another chapter and by not positioning dreaming as passive escapism, the album approaches it as an active force, an ability to imagine differently, keep moving and resist becoming smaller or more easily defined simply because the world demands it.

Now she brings us her recent release titled “We Could Be Stardust,” the second single from the forthcoming record. The track expands the Dreamer universe through a widescreen meeting of rock, pop and dance textures, pairing anthemic sonic energy with slick electronic movement. Thematically, “We Could Be Stardust” reflects on the mystery of being alive and the way everyday worries can shift when viewed against the sheer vastness of existence. The song looks upward and outward, inviting listeners to reconnect with something bigger than the immediate pressures surrounding them.
Penned by JES and Richard Robson, whose credits include work with Tiësto, Shakira and Richard Ashcroft, the track was produced by the pair alongside underground UK producer Bedlam. Opened by JES’ alluring vocal leads which drift above fluttering piano notes, she casts an enchanting musical spell that builds with the steady pulse of kick. Flowing with delicate melodies and poignant lyricism, the song develops with danceable energy, crafting an enticing pop music moment that’s mesmeric, invigorating and infectious all at once.
Wrapped in a dreamy musical fabric and instilled with gentle momentum capped by dazzling vocal performance, “We Could Be Stardust” sees JES serve up another stunning pop outing that’s truly impossible not to love. As she continues to go from strength to strength with each move, we can’t wait to see what this exciting artist has in store with her highly anticipated forthcoming album release.
Commenting on the single, JES shares, “We Could Be Stardust is a reminder that some of the things we spend the most time worrying about become much smaller when you zoom out. It came from wanting to step back from the noise for a moment and feel the miracle of being here at all. Not everything needs to be explained. Sometimes it’s enough just to feel it.”
