Colombian-American singer-songwriter, producer and visual creator Dani Twice is currently based in Tampa, Florida. The multi-talented artist behind “Pixel Beach” and “TOO COLD!” offers a refreshing and authentic approach to his writing, with conscious lyrics covering important political themes in his lyrics.
Since he started officially dropping tracks last year, he’s been building a following who appreciate his involved perspective and take on issues that are often overlooked in music. Characterised by glitching snapping beats and a piquant blend of melodic instrumentation, his music provides a modern backdrop for his rhythm-perfect vocal flow to deliver his hard-hitting lyrics.
With his seventh single to date, he brings us the new track “JUMP”, inviting the listener to explore what many people feel while leaving everything behind and becoming a refugee in a foreign land with its own violence problems. “JUMP” was written a few years ago while Dani Twice was collaborating as an animator with a Non-Profit organisation based in Seattle to raise awareness about the Syrian refugee crisis via a campaign delivered through the moving image.
On his new single, an energetic beat collides with a driving 808 bass contrasted by a laidback flute and vocal chants to create a captivating song that’s both enjoyable and carries an important message.
