Fish and Scale is a unique German artist who has been building up a global fan base with his charming indie folk music. With his style of delicate writing, he’s been releasing touching songs over the last decade that have resonated with listeners and tastemakers alike.
Growing up in the Franconia region of south Germany, he survived a serious heart operation at the age of just six years old, an experience that’s stayed with him his whole life. Through his lyrics echo existential questions, summing up his turbulent life journey through his songs.
His authentic and unique modern folk sound has his intense vocals at the core, often sitting above unusual song structures adding depth and authenticity to his sound. Now he brings us his new single “Rumi Says”, a song inspired by the poetry of Rumi.
As said by Rumi, “There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.”, Fish and Scale’s new single guides you to the place inside where your heart speaks to you without words. Paired with the track is a music video to reflect the unspoken whisperings that inspired the music.
