Hailing from South London, up-and-coming bedroom pop artist satchit blends his unique sound from alternative R&B, electronic music and a mix of global musical elements. Since his introduction when he dropped his debut EP, Glass, he’s gone from strength to strength as he’s developed his original sound.
As an artist who’s folded his culture into his production and singing styles, satchit has pushed the boundaries of his sound into even more interesting territory and received recognition with extensive radio airtime on the BBC Asian Network.
Over the last couple of years he’s dropped a string of singles, each growing his fanbase and adding something new to his catalogue such as “Stargaze”, “Freedom” and “New Peace” in the build up to his next longer project. Most recently he’s released the brand new single “Lilac Screen”, a track about the abuses of media freedom around the world and the blending of truth and falsehoods that we consume on a daily basis.
With his new single, he offers a hazy sonic journey full of subtly snapping beats, distorted synths and the artist’s smooth future R&B vocal work. Cut with various vocal samples, “Lilac Screen” lays down a melodically-charged kaleidoscopic trip on a track that offers memorable moments and important messages.
