When Pennsylvania-based producer Ringo Harrison set out to make music over a decade ago, his goal was to experience as much in life as possible so that he could use those moments as subject matter in his compositions. Having lived through some of those experiences, some better than others, he now draws on them to make music flow easily from his creative vision.
With an eclectic mix of influences such as People Under the Stairs, NOFX, Frank Zappa, JPEGMAFIA, System of a Down, he creates his own brand of dark ambient electronica full of beat-driven rhythm and dissonant melodic ideas.
Now venturing out with his recorded music, he brings us one of his recent singles with “God’s Consolation”. Unnerving and delightfully dark, this new track fuses eerie hip hop vibes with touches of trap to make a wholly haunting dark wave cut.
Offering a minimal atmospheric sound, Ringo Harrison lays down an immersive electronic world that chills and engages in equal measure on this fully self-produced track.
