Feralman is a Welsh/Australian genre-blending artist that creates stunning alternative folk music. Despite coming onto the scene fairly recently, with his debut single “When All Is Almost Lost” released in November 2020 he’s gone on to quickly cement his name as a must watch artist.
For his debut album, titled Chapters 35-43, the artist collaborated with the award-winning Sefi Carmel to help propel him towards his expansive cinematic indie sound. Released to critical acclaim, the LP gained Feralman fans all over the world and secured radio airtime across the UK, North America, all over Europe and Australia.
Following the success of his recent single, “Believe”, which caught the attention of a wider audience and received a new record amount of streams for Feralman, he now brings us his latest work with “Golden Canary”. The new single comes in the build up to the release of his sophomore full-length release called Allegories.
On “Golden Canary”, the artist offers a beautifully written indie folk piece that gives a taste of what’s to come with his upcoming record. The double-sided single features the full album version which boasts more than seven and a half minutes of arrangement including an acoustic guitar departure an intriguing chanting section in the middle. Paired with the full version comes a radio edit which removes these sections to deliver a more succinct listening experience while still maintaining all the charm of the melodically-driven writing.
