Based in Malta, Leonardo Barilaro is utterly fascinated by space. By day, he works as an aerospace engineer, but in his spare time he’s a talented pianist and prolific composer who fuses his love for the great expanse above the clouds into his ethereal soundscapes.

Having his mind constantly focused on the cosmos, his ambitions stretch his starry aspirations to plans to play the first piano concert on Mars. With his music he offers captivating cinematic piano-based scores that conjure vivid sonic imagery, dreamt up by his expressive creative vision and delivered by his deft piano performances.

The artist has released an astonishing catalogue of music so far, that truly demonstrates the depth of his musical mind and abilities to pull stunning compositions seemingly out of thin air. One of his recent releases comes in the form of the single titled “100 Days”, a spacey piano and synth arrangement that celebrates the 100 day mark in his incredible yearlong project Space Piano Music Everyday.
