Indie Rock from Deleo

Based in the French city of Montpellier, Deleo has become one of the most exciting alternative rock acts in France. The group is formed by band founder and multi-instrumentalist Denis Navarro, lead vocalist Emi and Felicien on bass. Together they combine to deliver their impassioned rock sound that takes influence from the likes of Radiohead, Placebo, Pj Harvey, Archive, Interpol and many other outfits.

First created in 2018, the project came to life when Denis met a singer called Eleonore and the pair fused their names to give the Deleo moniker. Since that moment, through all the difficulties of the recent times the band has gone from strength-to-strength as they’ve evolved their sound and developed artistically.

Going through triumphs and set backs which included the band working with legendary producer James Sanger and undergoing line up changes as various members departed and joined, Deleo has more recently returned to their roots. Now linking with producer Philippe Uminski and signed to the independent imprint My Own Records, they bring us their latest work with the new single “Satellite”.

Lifted from their upcoming album, titled The Best Is Yet To Be and set to drop on October 28th, their new single shows a band in their prime. Spinning a spectacular new wave sound, with “Satellite”, Deleo lay down a hook-driven outing full of marching rhythm and engaging melodic vocal leads.

Accompanying the single comes a new music video which splices dark monochrome live performance scenes with abrupt and colourful edits to craft a cinematic pairing to reflect the energy of the music.
