Hailing from the German city of Munich, Vroni Magenta is the experimental electronic artist that’s shrouded in mystery. Offering a truly unique sound that explores the depths of gothic dark pop and leftfield electronic soundscapes, Vroni Magenta always strives to offer something new and compelling.
Creating a sonic journey refracted through a prism, and one that will make you question what music means to you, the artist has been dropping music over the last three years since the debut EP Renâitre was released in 2019. Followed up by the sophomore EP Buried Down a year later and the single “Short Blind Love” from last year, the artist now shares their latest work with the new EP titled Obsidian Storm.
Pushing the boundaries of their sound and refusing to be boxed into any one genre or style, with the new EP, Vroni Magenta lays down a new chapter of their expressive creative vision. From the opening track and EP’s lead single “Realign” with its dark and driving synthwave tones through to the closer “Byzantium” with it’s rich tapestry of laid back ambient sound, throughout Obsidian Storm Vroni Magenta offers an exhilarating trip to an immersive sonic world.
Blending elements of trip hop and electronica all wrapped up in an atmospheric industrial sound, Vroni Magenta’s new EP showcases a captivating and completely original sound that’s unlike anything else out there.
