Golden Features links with Rromarin

Australian electronic music producer works under the alias Golden Features, which has turned out to be an apt name not only due to the gold mask he wears while performing, but because of the golden run he’s been on since exploding onto the scene eight years ago. With two platinum and six gold certifications for his tracks and over 275 million streams, he’s taken the electronic music world by storm.

Over the years he’s played sold out shows at Sydney Opera House, a closing set at Falls Festival, slots at Ultra Music Festival and Coachella as well as forming the BRONSON project which released the self-titled album in 2020 with leading electronic duo ODESZA.

Now he makes his highly anticipated return with the new single “Touch”, linking with Rromarin on the track. Following a hiatus from releasing music that saw Golden Features retreat to the clubbing capital of Berlin, “Touch” captures everything the producer took away from his invigorating break in the German city.

Blending both moody and light textures, with his new track Golden Features lays down a pulsating dance hit full of mesmeric beats paired with the atmospheric vocal leads of Rromarin. Commenting on the track, Golden Features shares, “Touch was born from that synth riff. I fought it for so long, feeling it was too happy and upbeat. After giving it some space I reharmonised everything under the riff and it instantly made me feel something.”

Adding, “Claire (Rromarin) had actually recorded these vocals for another song on the record, but the lyrics just felt right for Touch. To me it encapsulates that feeling after the rave… At the kick-on laying with your head in somebody’s lap, smoking a cigarette while they play with your hair.”
