Hailing from the Northeast of England, Trady is an artist who started rapping at the age of ten years old. Honing his flow by listening to Eminem’s album Recovery on repeat, Trady would find instrumentals of songs he liked at the time and throw is own bars over the top, often with off-the-cuff lyrics and a lack of cadence. However it was this formative practice that allowed him to progress and develop to the talented artist he is today.
He was forced to grow up faster than usual, tragically losing his mother which saw him seek solace in listening to music rather than writing, allowing to feel what other artists felt and letting their work wash over him in a therapeutic way. He then threw himself into his studies with hopes of becoming an engineer, a path that’s led him to his current position as an Instrument Artificer for Fujifilm.
However when he was 19, he linked up with some friends and formed a band which released an EP and while that endeavour never went anywhere, it reignited his passion for writing and performing music. Now at 24, he’s venturing out as a solo artist, dropping a string of well-received singles over the last two years.
With his most ambitious project to date, he brings us his debut full-length release with the recent album titled October 17th. Delivering his hard-hitting modern rap sound, he sets him self apart with his incredibly honest lyricism that sees Trady truly speak his mind.
Featuring thirteen original tracks, on his debut album Trady rips through a fiery hip hop journey full of razor sharp vocal flow and conscious writing. Driven by glitching and snapping trap-style beats and wavey synth-based instrumentation, on his album Trady makes a statement that he’s an artist with something to say on this worthy debut full-length.
