Hailing from Bristol, Bigman & The Birdseeds is a trio formed by international musicians from New Zealand, Italy and the UK. Together, they combine gritty guitar work, driving drums, grooving bass lines and catchy vocals to create a loud and memorable modern rock sound.
“We like to have fun… but take our fun very seriously”, frontman the Bigman shares. Perfectly capturing their bluesy sound, their 2021 dual singles “I’ve Been Lucky” and “I’ve Been Hungry with the three-piece outfit throwing down soaring lead guitar solos and reflective lyricism.
Created in lockdown, the band has already dropped eight original singles, as well as remixes of their debut track “Aggressively Fragile” and “Big Deal”. The most recent of their tracks comes with their brand new single “I Don’t Wanna Work… Never!”.
Offering more of their anthemic alternative rock style, on their new single they pair angsty and rebellious sentiments wrapped up in an energising sound. Expressing a passion close to their hearts, “I Don’t Wanna Work… Never!” challenges the hypocrisy of the system of unrealistic demands in the workplace.
With more and more people struggling with falling wages and rising costs, Bigman & The Birdseeds provide a uniting voice to protest an unjust situation, delivered by their swaggering rock n’ roll talents.
