Hailing from Newark, Amanda Holley has had music flowing in her veins since her birth. With a cellist mother and guitarist and songwriter father, who wrote for Sarah Vaughan, Amanda was raised to have a passion for music, with rhythm and melodies stitched into the fabric of her upbringing.
When she was just two years old, the artist first picked up a violin and began to teach herself the instrument, starting a musical journey that would see her singing and playing the piano for thousands since the age of seven. Now armed with a powerful five-octave range voice, she’s played the biggest stages in the world such as Carnegie Hall, Birdland, United Nations, NYFW, Sony Hall and Coachella as well as countless intimate shows all over America.
Since making her studio recording introduction in 2013 with her debut single “Thunder Knows Your Name”, she’s racked up hundreds of thousands of streams of her music. She was also featured as the title track in the Showtime film ‘Sharon 1 2 3’.
More recently she’s linked with the Billboard Charting producers and songwriters Davis Chris, Shane Foster and Cecily Wagner on her singles “Run Away” and “Code” released in 2021 and this year respectively. Both tracks are lifted from her new upcoming EP titled The HolleyGraphic EP and in the build up she now shares her latest work with her brand new single “Fav Flavor”.
Laying down the very best of her soulful R&B style, her new single is a deeply personal and intimate composition carried perfectly by her smooth and floating vocal delivery. Driven by a grooving rhythm and snapping beat, with “Fav Flavor”, Amanda Holley offers a beautifully melodic alternative R&B cut full of delicate and emotive writing with her soaring vocals front and centre.
Commenting on the new single, she shares, “The melodies and lyrics came to me as I was walking down city streets on an emotional Saturday night. I decided to give in and surrender to my deepest craving for love and music.” With production by the renowned OhKayLaws and vocal production by Grammy Winning engineer Michael Prochillo, “Fav Flavor” showcases Amanda Holley’s stunning R&B pop writing and builds further excitement for her next release.
