Based in Kent, UK, Klaverson is the new project from twenty-five year old artist Jack Lintorn who took a step back from working as an artist following the success of his 2017 project. Developed while working at the prestigious Abbey Road Studios, Klaverson offers an emotive and cinematic alternative indie sound.
Blending delicate rhythms with restrained and smooth vocal lines carrying mesmerising melodies, Klaverson channels the sounds of artists such as Massive Attack, James Blake, Chet Faker, Four Tet and Boards of Canada to create a wholly original style.
Making his introduction under the new moniker, Klaverson brings us his first release with the debut single titled “I’m Coming Home”. Lifted from his upcoming debut EP, the new track offers the first taste of his unique sonic vision, laying down an immersive and memorable sound of soulful electronica.
Spinning a deep and moody tapestry of smoky synth-based instrumentation, the artist draws on his own life experiences to pen his meaningful lyricism, perfectly paired with a hypnotising arrangement of lo-fi vibes. With his first outing as Klaverson, the artist delivers a worthy debut single that serves to build excitement around the project and drive anticipation for the forthcoming EP.
Commenting on the debut single, he shares, “I first began writing the song whilst on a trip to Tokyo — you can even hear the sounds of the Shibuya streets which are nestled in from the intro. The chords and percussion followed quickly after, and on the plane home, I realised where I wanted to take this project. I wanted to make it as raw and personal as possible which hopefully you can almost feel leak through the sound.”
