&Tilly are an introverted couple that have been penning poetic music together over the last three years. With their music, they craft deep and atmospheric soundscapes full of emphatic melodic leads and reflective lyricism that carries the ultimately positive message that’s it’s ok to not be ok.
The self-taught musicians, producers and videographers have already composed more than ninety songs, constantly working on their artistic vision and sharing it in drips over time. They’ve also collaborated with indie artists all around the globe and recently they linked up with BlauDisS on one of their new singles.
Based in Washington D.C., BlauDisS is the alias of the organic electronic music producer and multi-instrumentalist Bert Loudis. Starting his sonic endeavours at a young age, he first began playing saxophone in a variety of jazz outfits before embarking on a journey that saw him perform in classical orchestras to death metal bands.
With the BlauDisS project, he ties together his vast and ranging experiences to offer his fans a bittersweet yet optimistic listening experience. Often combining guitar, bass, saxophone and found sound percussion shots from household items and nature, he draws on the vocal talents from local musicians or collaborators online.
The new song, titled “3 AM Lullaby”, sees &Tilly and BlauDisS lay down an immersive and organic sound that blends impactful beats with a warm tapestry of instrumentation and ASMR style vocals. Capturing the feeling of trying to fall asleep but failing to do so, with “3 AM Lullaby” the artists create an ethereal and dreamy soundscape of elegant beauty.
