UK-based experimental electronic music producer Tomorrow’s Child takes inspiration from dystopian sci-fi films and 90 dance music when creating his own immersive soundscapes. Having grown up just outside London in High Wycombe surrounded by unsightly concrete buildings and car parks, the sense of lost futures sparked a deep-rooted impression on the artist, leaving a lasting influence that shines through his sound today.
In 2015, he moved to Cornwall and tragically lost his father that same year. Going to study Popular Music at University, he also evolved from a guitar playing singer-songwriter to an electronic music producer, using the many significant changes in his life to bring forward his own creative vision, using music as a way to express his grief and relocation.
Making his introduction as Tomorrow’s Child in 2018, he released his debut single “Atlantis” before putting a hold on bringing out new music until this year when he shared three new original tracks. The most recent release is his new single titled “Spectres of Summer”.
Laying down a smoky electronic world that blends elements of future garage and witch house, with “Spectres of Summer”, Tomorrow’s Child offers a tribute to the end of summer. Full of shifting rhythm and blurry synth tones, on his latest single the artist showcases a sound that’s equal parts euphoric and eerie with another piece that demonstrates his originality and production prowess.
