Multi-lingual artist TZA RA has lived all over the world in places such as Sweden, Russia, the USA and the UK, picking up a broad range of influences from diverse cultures and languages which filters through to her highly unique sonic works. Starting out during the global pandemic, she first began writing her own original material in the summer of 2021.
Taking her name from the Cyrillic word for ‘Ruler’ and from the Ancient Egyptian Sun God ‘Ra’, she’s spun a fitting signature for her sound which is brimming with her own artistic sunshine while taking influence from artists such as BIA, Doja Cat and Rosalía. Bridging the gap between continents and cultures, her music ties together elements of different musical styles and champions the notion of our interconnected world through her songs.
Offering the first taste of the TZA RA sound, she’s made her explosive introduction with her brand new debut single titled “Caution Hot”. Framed by themes of self-worth and confidence that encourages the discardment of toxic or draining people, with her first single TZA RA drops an empowering anthem.
Driven by a punching beat and Latin style acoustic guitar arrangement, the artist lays down her swaggering vocal work of laid back rapped flows. Taking inspiration from the recent changes in her life leading up to her launching her solo artist career that’s seen her start a new job in a new city and leaving a long-term relationship, she says about the song, “This song is almost like a conversation with myself where I chose to leave what doesn’t serve me behind to move on and invest time in what does.”
Produced by Jybe Music at Pierce Entertainment Studios, on “Caution Hot” TZA RA delivers an instant impact with her debut single which confirms she’s a rising talent to watch this year and beyond.
