Alexander Joseph is a UK-based singer-songwriter who infuses important and meaningful messages into his music. Spinning a delicate indie folk sound, lifted by his pop-focused writing that pairs gentle melodic lines with anthemic and memorable choruses, the result is music that’s resonated with fans and tastemakers around the world.
Championed by BBC Introducing, the station has given extensive radio support to his singles such as “Not Defeated” and listing “Invincible” and “Now or Never” as tracks of the week. A hugely passionate sportsman, he draws on his love for competition and team spirit to instil a sense of motivation into his compositions which provided the inspiration for his debut EP Anything Is Possible.
Lifted from his first EP, the songs “GB 365”, “You’re Going To Win” and “A Racket In Hand” were all featured on Channel 4’s ‘The Superhuman Show’ as well as played at the iconic grounds of Wimbledon in their official playlist. When not writing music, he’s involved in coaching and has spent the last few years working with the Team GB wheelchair tennis players.
Now he brings us his brand new release with the new single titled “Waiting for You”. Full of his trademark blend of smooth vocals carrying moving lyricism via stirring melodic leads over an elegant acoustic arrangement, his new single sees him share another beautiful song. With both a full sound version with a piano version b-side, “Waiting for You” sees a talented artist deliver the very best of his captivating sound.
