From the arid landscapes of Phoenix rises a phoenix of its own, the exciting rock band called Jane N’ The Jungle. Led by the talents of Jordan White’s commanding vocals and Brian Dellis’s electrifying guitar work, this modern rock act has been setting the scene ablaze with their raw energy and driving sound.
Since starting out in 2019, Jane N’ The Jungle has been making an impact with their thrilling releases. From their debut single “Tonight” to their first full-length record Concrete Jungle, they’ve consistently delivered a sound that hit hard and leave a lasting impact. With endorsements from industry giants like Gibson Guitars and performances alongside renowned artists, they’ve been winning over fans and tastemakers around the world.
Recently they’ve been dropping a string of singles in the build up to their latest release, their brand new EP titled Life of the Party. The eagerly anticipated record was produced by Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios in Canton, Michigan and delivers the perfect snapshot of the latest chapter of Jane N’ The Jungle’s compelling and emotionally-charged alternative rock sound. It’s a gritty, anthemic collection of six tracks that dives into themes of angst, frustration and toxic relationships.
Opened by “Dirty Dog,” originally released as a single back in the summer of 2022, the EP kicks off with gritty guitar riffs, pounding drums and Jordan’s sensational vocals as she spins sobering lyricism about a sexual assault. “Metal Ghost” launches with the punchy strikes of drums and stabs of guitar chords before flowing into an uptempo alternative rock outing. Jordan’s stunning voice soars above the crunchy arrangement to deliver a rousing rock music experience packed full of emphatic instrumentation, memorable vocal hooks and a moody aesthetic.
“Cut Me Open” stands out as a highlight, with its anthemic chorus and blistering guitar solo showcasing the Brian’s incredible musicianship. Meanwhile, “Bed of Roses” captivates with its brooding atmosphere and Jordan’s impassioned vocals, delivering punchy lines over a pulsating rhythm section.
The closing song and title track “Life of the Party” serves up a downtempo and brooding rock sound written about the varied sides of addiction and becoming someone else’s drug. Driven by a laid back rhythm and wrapped in a smokey veil of fuzzy guitar tones, Jordan’s powerful vocals cut through the arrangement to deliver profound lyricism via flying melodies as Brian’s slick leads inject cutting rock flair throughout.
