An early adopter and vanguard of the Wave scene, Outsidr returns with “Consequences” released via renown UK label, Liquid Ritual. Influenced heavily by film soundtracks and artists such as Lorn, Ital Tek and Telefon Tel Aviv, Outsidr injects a cinematic feel into the traditional Wave sonic.
With support stemming from international tastemakers such as BBC Radio 1 (UK), triple j (AU), Block FM (JP), and Nest HQ (US), plus fellow Wave heavyweights, Plastician and Liquid Ritual head Kareful, Outsider is certainly a serious contender to fill listeners playlists and DJ catalogues.
Lending his emotive take on the wave style, on “Consequences” the producer pairs smooth and crisp beats with meandering vocal samples dripping in a stretching reverb. A driving, yet ambient energy flows throughout this piece which sits just as comfortably on the dance floor as it does on late night drives.
