Electronic music producer Sour kicks off 2021 by giving Oded‘s “Sunny Days” the remix treatment. The trans-national link up sees the original piece from Israel reworked and given a new light by the Mexican artist.
Sunny Days is a blend between indie and organic/deep house featuring ethereal, delicate dreamy vocals and warm synths. The reworked sound maintains the delicate balance and emotive refrain of the original whilst adding a fresh electronic energy.
Commenting on the collaboration, Sour offers, “Browsing through a playlist I heard the original version and immediately realised that I wanted to remix it. I got in touch with Oded and he agreed. This song made me realise the power of the internet. How crazy is it that Oded is in Israel and I’m in Mexico? Out of all the songs that I’ve worked on, this is the one that I’m the most emotionally attached to.”
