Filled with his musical experiences and influences, Vayron introduces us to his colourful musical universe. At the roots of this universe, the study of piano and classical impressionist composers such as Debussy and Ravel played major building blocks of his music.
Later on, the rich tradition of electronic artists such as Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Radiohead became the inspiration for Vayron to develop a complex and emotional electronic music.
Vayron composes in a variety of styles, from piano pieces to IDM infused electronic music, expressing the range of human feelings and hopes his pieces follow the listener through their days, inviting them for a time of contemplation.
Now he brings us a remix of his track “Family Masks”, reworked by the producer Būtsu, the electronic project of LA multi-disciplinary artist Michael Bitton. Drawing inspiration from forward thinking artists such as Jon Hopkins and Stimming, Būtsu develops emotionally rich music propelled by rhythms that are as much developed for the dance floor as they are for solitary, reflective listening.
Ever concerned with the visual impressions of aural events, Būtsu strives to thread the disparate tableaux born from his eclectic style with a common palette of shared human experience. Būtsu’s debut track, “Lucid Dreams,” can be streamed via U.Baba record’s Vol 1 compilation.
With his remix of Vayron’s track he reimagines the sound with his own energy fusing melodic techno and house elements to create his own atmospheric take on the original.
