Hailing from Cleveland, Disco Dreams has always viewed electronic music as something that seemed to offer more than simply a place to dance. Drawn to its possibilities from a young age, the artist found himself infatuated by psychedelic melodies stretching across different genres, eventually setting out to explore the more immersive reaches of pop-focused electronica. Today, that sonic adventure has developed into a sound that brings together nostalgic textures with modern production, creating music designed to transport listeners into engrossing emotional worlds.
His music can carry the energy of the dance floor while retaining the atmosphere of a dream, moving between movement and reflection without needing to choose one over the other. Electronic textures become a means of creating the sonic energy, while psychedelic influences provide a sense of discovery, allowing each track to feel like another step into a larger sonic landscape. Within the production and experimentation however is a simpler motivation and ultimately, Disco Dreams is about creating music from an honest and emotional place.
Creativity, peace and love sit at the centre of the project, offering a sense of optimism within a world that can often feel overwhelming. That artistic outlook first took a more official form in 2021, when Disco Dreams unveiled his debut full-length record, Mystic Daze, which mapped out his musical vision across eleven tracks. A run of singles followed, eventually leading to the EP Cyber Trippin’, which landed in 2024 and since then, he’s taken a brief hiatus from sharing his sound. Over the past year and a half, he’s dedicated himself to further developing his sound and building the resources required to realise his next project in the way he believes it fully deserves.

Now, that work begins to take shape with “OutLands,” the lead single from his upcoming sophomore studio album. The track represents both a return and a continuation; Disco Dreams has spent the time away from releases exploring his own sound, allowing the project to flourish beyond where it stood in 2024. “OutLands” opens the first window into this new chapter, serving up a grooving chillwave jam that flows with laid back rhythms and stacks of colourful synths to deliver an enveloping soundscape brimming with intricate melodies and transportive atmosphere.
Drifting into focus with the swell of deep low-end texture and intricate flicker of bubbling synth leads, the punch of percussion ushers in a breezy forward motion as layers of electronic tones form a dreamy musical fabric. Gliding through moments of buzzy synth elements capped by processed vocalisations, the track progresses with a wholly absorbing aesthetic as an array of instrumental timbres arise throughout the arrangement. Propelled by danceable rhythms and peppered with delicate shots of smokey vocal flickers, “OutLands” sees Disco Dreams deliver a thoroughly engaging jam that’s sure to win over new and existing listeners alike.
Wrapped in slick sound design, it’s an epic showcase of his creativity and production panache, offering a listening expeirence that’s dreamy, energising and original all at once. Marking his return in spectacular fashion, “OutLands” sees the artist resume his exciting musical voyage while building the excitement for his forthcoming second record. As he continues to share more music on this thrilling new chapter, we can’t wait to see what Disco Dreams has in store for the rest of 2026 and beyond.
